A message from Cindy Grabb:
Clayton is a lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania, born and raised in Allison Park, PA. He is the youngest of four children to Bob and Betty Grace Grabb….good Christian, working class parents that instilled wonderful values and morals in their entire family. Bob and Betty Grace recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary surrounded by family…a milestone testament to their love and faith in each other and God. The Grabb family was one of the cornerstones and founders of Nativity Lutheran Church in Allison Park, PA.
We currently attend Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler, PA.
Clayton was a student in the Hampton School District and graduated from Hampton High School, where he was involved in athletics and music.
Clayton is a US Navy Veteran and served 1981 – 1984 onboard the USS Jack Williams (FFG-24) in Mayport, Florida. As part of his service, Clayton traveled the world seeing firsthand the importance of American exceptionalism, and the world’s need for a strong America. He saw service in Beirut, Lebanon-October 1983 as part of the rescue effort after the terrorist attacks on the Marine Headquarters, an event that has lead to his belief in a strong defense and vigilance in the War on Terror.[1]

Upon his return to Western Pennsylvania from the Navy, Clayton attended LaRoche College and received his degree in 1988. He has over 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience in a variety of industries including Manufacturing, Technology, and Healthcare serving both large and small business. For ten of the last twenty years, his territory has included the entire 3rd District – from Erie to Kittanning and Warren to Sharon. Clayton has gotten to know firsthand the district, the people and their concerns from his daily interactions.
He is currently employed by Janssen Pharmaceutica, a Johnson and Johnson company–– where he specializes in the field of Mental Health. His experience gives him direct insight to the current challenges and dangers faced in the proposed Health Care Reform legislation.
We currently live in Connoquenessing Township, Butler County with our 10 year old daughter Emily who is active in Butler sports.
Clayton is a member of the John E. Mair Masonic Lodge in Mars PA and has also been very active in the Shriners of North America as a member of Syria Shrine Center in Cheswick PA.
The Shriners provide tremendous community service in support of the Shrine Hospitals of North America. Clayton serves as a clown in the Harige unit and volunteers his time at the Shrine Circus, parades and other functions to raise money to help the mission of the Shrine Hospitals of North America, which includes Erie Shrine Hospital in our district.
Clayton is a fifteen year member of the American Legion and is currently affiliated with Post 474 in Zelienople, PA.
Clayton is a great husband, father and friend – but he is also a great patriot. The events of the last few years have compelled Clayton to serve his country again, with the same dedication and commitment from his military service.
Clayton considers it an honor to serve his friends, neighbors and his Country. He feels called upon to take this journey…. a journey that he will handle with the utmost pride, integrity and accountability.
Our family deeply appreciates your support and prayers.
